Ensuring your safety at the 2021 Australasian Conference


We look forward to celebrating with you at our 2021 Australasian Conference and nothing is more important than ensuring that we provide a safe environment in which our delegates and Corporate Staff feel comfortable and well cared for. We are excited and doing all possible to allow our Associates to participate in our first and long awaited face to face event since the 2020 Australasian Conference.

As we continue to go through rapid and frequent change, Mannatech are committed to working with the JW Marriott Resort & Spa to ensure we implement and adhere to health and safety guidelines that will keep you protected. This will be monitored on an ongoing basis and adapted as and when situations and circumstances change.

How are we doing this?


Public Spaces

Public areas and meeting space layouts have been reviewed to ensure traffic flow is within physical distancing guidelines and that attendees have easy access to hand sanitiser and disinfecting wipes.

Sanitising stations will be located in a number of different areas utilised by Mannatech during the conference, and, an individual bottle will also be provided in your registration bag.

Appropriate signage will be placed in public spaces reminding attendees of where these stations are located.


Onsite conference registration has been planned to allow for multiple registration desks, according to physical distancing guidelines and a flow that minimises attendee contact.

Contactless registration will also be available via your phone/device to ‘check in’ for the conference online. You can then pick up your registration bag and name badge at a quieter time most suitable for you.

Meeting Rooms

Floor plans for each conference session and evening function will be customised, in consultation with the venue, to allow for local physical distancing guidelines.

Hand sanitiser will be placed on each table during conference sessions and located in close proximity during evening functions.

Meeting amenities such as pads, pens, water & sweets have all been considered and will be provided with the utmost assurance of safety.

Food & Beverage

Food and beverage arrangements will be made to minimise contact between attendees and hotel staff and where possible, packed food may be provided during break times.

Self service areas such as coffee/tea making stations will be provided at 1 for every 25 guests.

Accommodation Room

New cleaning protocols have been put in place to provide a welcoming, clean and safe space for hotel guests.

These protocols include the consideration of guest room contents, minibar and coffee stations, linen bags, delivery of supplies to guest rooms, sanitisation kits, communication of room cleaning options to minimise contact and enhanced cleaning and sanitisation.

Hygiene Reassurance

Mannatech Australasia continues to work closely with the venue, suppliers and Corporate Staff to ensure that all event staff are making suitable arrangements to minimise contact between attendees, hotel staff and supplier staff.

All teams are kept well informed of:

• Cleaning protocols and social distancing measures
• Regular changing of personal protective equipment such as mask and gloves (where needed)
• Familiarisation with sanitisation stations and top up as required.
• Sterilisation of microphones and other equipment after each use.
• What to do in the case that someone presents with a fever, showing other systems or generally unwell.
• Staggering arrival times to reduce crowds.


Mobile Solutions

If you are not already a Marriott Bonvoy member we would encourage you to sign up and download the Marriott Bonvoy app to take advantage of online check-in/out, mobile keys and guest requests. This will allow you to minimise contact with hotel staff and other guests.

If you are feeling unwell

For your peace of mind, thermometers will be housed onsite. In the event that any attendees feel unwell, or suspect possible symptoms, precautions will be taken to manage any concerns straight away.


Resources and Compliance

Mannatech Australasia commits to staying on top of local regulations regarding group gatherings and will provide a list of emergency numbers, local health authority helplines and general guidelines to consider with your final Registration email a week or two before the event.

Consisting of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and hotel operations, the Marriott Cleanliness Council is redefining their cleaning and safety standards and Marriott will actively monitor and evolve their solutions to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of our conference guests.

Marriott International have implemented new meetings & events protocols that ensure you can "Connect with Confidence" via enhanced cleaning protocols throughout the hotel, including public spaces, guest rooms and meeting spaces.
